In light of all the recent developments that have taken the globe by storm, football has simply taken a step back and all the players, coaches and other people otherwise involved in sport are waiting for the situation to be resolved.
The Premier League is no exception as the English top-flight has been temporarily suspended and we still don’t know what will happen to the current 2019/20 campaign.
Indeed, the world in general is in uncertain times to say the very least and Newcastle United’s injured loanee, Jetro Willems, was quick to post a ‘meme’ of the situation that has made people go into a panic-buying craze, stocking toilet paper, soap and other essentials for our hygiene.

Of course, Willems is alluding to large sections of the public panic-buying toilet paper and leaving the stores empty in the process and this was just a little funny image to lighten the mood among the fanbase.
Who would’ve thought that toilet paper would become such a luxury in the 21st century…
Newcastle fans, what did you think of Willems’ ‘meme’? Do you have any other funny images to share? Let us know down in the comments below!
