Newcastle United: Magpies fans discuss loan signing Valentino Lazaro

Loads of Newcastle United supporters reacted to a post from the club’s official Twitter account wishing loan signing Valentino Lazaro a happy birthday.
After moving to St James’ Park from Inter Milan for just £1.35m, Lazaro has featured in five matches in all competitions for Steve Bruce’s Black and Whites this season, and netted the crucial goal against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns in the FA Cup. The 24-year-old also picked up a red card in only his second appearance for the Magpies against Crystal Palace (Transfermarkt).
The Austrian has also won 28 caps for the national team and has scored three goals for the Boys so far. He is currently valued at £17.1m via Transfermarkt.
Despite his relatively young age, Lazaro has played for a number of notable European teams, including RB Salzburg and Hertha BSC.
Naturally the club’s birthday message resulted in numerous replies from the Toon Army, with couple of fans urging the club to “sign him permanently,” due to his experience in the Bundesliga and Serie A and performances to date.
