Newcastle United: Many fans appreciate Allan Saint-Maximin’s work off the pitch

Allan Saint-Maximin has paid a visit to the Newcastle West End Foodbank to show his support for NUFC Fans Foodbank.

The initiative sees fans donate food or money, which goes towards feeding members of the community and the Frenchman went to see what it is they do behind the scenes:

The club and fans are currently divided, which is highlighted by the fact Newcastle are set to have their lowest attendance of the Mike Ashley era against Leicester City, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Therefore, it is good to see a player, especially a new signing, doing their utmost to get involved with the community and get behind good initiatives.

The 22-year-old has only played 23 competitive minutes for Newcastle so far, as per WhoScored, but the short flurry of excitement he provided on the pitch and sincerity he has shown off it, seems to have already made him a popular figure among Magpies fans.
