Newcastle United: Paco Alcacer’s impending loan transfer leaves Magpies fans disappointed

According to Spanish station Cadena SER, via ‘Sport‘, Newcastle United look set to miss out on a loan deal for striker Paco Alcacer as this update hints he may be on the verge of a loan move back to Valencia instead – prompting real disappointment from Magpies supporters.
The Spaniard, who’s scored a prolific 26 goals in 47 appearances during his time at Borussia Dortmund, with 19 of them coming last campaign (Transfermarkt), has been linked with a Premier League move this window to both Tottenham and the Magpies (The Northern Echo).
Now, it appears that potential move may be scuppered by Alcacer’s reported desire to return to his former club Valencia. As well as scoring far more goals, the 26-year-old, when compared to current Newcastle striker Joelinton, averages more shots per game (2) – perhaps hinting that he would’ve been a threatening alternative – even if the Brazilian beats him hands down in terms of aerial duels (5.4), as per WhoScored.com.
As a result, some Magpies supporters are disappointed to miss out on the hitman – here’s what they had to say on Twitter.

This is what happens when you have a small name manager tin pot manager.
He would have signed for Rafa Benitez.
Very important to have a big name manager if Saudi Prince comes and splashes the cash.
