Newcastle United may have lost 3-1 against Liverpool, but the Magpies still had Jetro Willems’ supreme moment of skill for the game to be remembered by.
The Dutchman cut inside Trent Alexander-Arnold, before smashing the ball out of Adrian’s reach and into the top corner.

The supporters were just as excited about it as well, as they took to Twitter to show their appreciation for the moment of brilliance.
There were positive signs outside of the goal for Willems despite the loss, as WhoScored gave him the highest rating of any Newcastle player alongside Jamaal Lascelles, Isaac Hayden and Joelinton.
Throughout his 90 minutes on the pitch, Willems won 1 tackle and 1 aerial duel, made 2 interceptions and maintained a pass success rate of 80%, though he could have done pretty much anything in that game and it would still be remembered for that strike.
