The Newcastle fans packed inside of the Transfer Tavern are delighted to be on the verge of Premier League safety after a hard, gruelling season that’s sent these passionate fans through every emotion possible.
The team have found great form at the vital time as Rafa Benitez and his backroom staff look to have done fantastically well to cement the Magpies’ stay in the Premier League for another campaign. Newcastle aren’t a perfect team and their fans completely understand that but if they continue to dream of becoming the force they once were, summer signings will be key to the club pushing on.
A player that our punters would like to see arrive at St. James’ Park is Burnley’s Robbie Brady, with the winger valued at just £9.00 million on Transfermarkt. The 26-year-old has endured a tricky year this season, following a great start, pitching in with 3 goals and 3 assists, to now being ruled out with injury and has been ever since early December.
The Ireland international has proven to be a great winger on his day, with his exceptional dead-ball delivery, his immaculate range of passing and most importantly his surprisingly good eye for goal. Brady really does have it all and although he isn’t one of the Premier League’s top players, he would have to be considered among the most consistent in the division.
Newcastle may find themselves short of quality of the wing, especially if loan star Kenedy doesn’t remain at the club. Robbie Brady would be the perfect replacement as having the ability to play on either side and creating havoc for a defence is desirable for many teams.
