‘Sign him up’, ‘Break the bank’ – Newcastle fans on Twitter react to 22-year-old’s comments

The Newcastle fans have been appreciating their 22-year-old livewire, Kenedy. The Brazilian is on-loan from Chelsea and a recent story by Craig Hope in the Daily Mail has got the Magpies talking about their electric loanee. The Brazilian took a trip down to London to meet with Brazil and Chelsea teammates Willian and David Luiz as he’s been given two days off as a reward for his form with the Magpies this season.

Kenedy has been a revelation since he moved north, swapping Stamford Bridge for St James Park until the end of the season, after being told by David Luiz that he would love Newcastle, for the love and support of the fans. It turns out Luiz was right, Kenedy has been accepted by the Geordies as one of their own and Rafa Benitez will look to do everything in his power to ensure the winger stays in the Northeast after his loan spell.

The story really hits home to the Newcastle fans what Kenedy is like as a person, and with the likes of Willian and Luiz looking out for him, it seems the youngster can’t go too far wrong as he looks destined for a Brazil call-up later in his career. The 22-year-old has scored twice and set up another two in his nine games for the Magpies and being at such an early stage in his career, there’s no doubt he’ll kick on and improve his output on the pitch.
