This £10.2m-rated striker could fire Newcastle United to Premier League safety next season

Newcastle United are back in the Premier League next season and at the time of writing, were still firmly in with a shout of taking the Championship title with them ahead of Brighton.

The Toon Army are always a delight to have here in the Tavern, and their friendly mood and party atmospheres have been a feature this season over by the jukebox area.

This week has been no different, and our landlord has been spending some good time with the Toon fans looking at what the club might do in the summer transfer window.

One player who raised some eyebrows when mentioned was current Sporting Lisbon hotshot Das Bost, who has been in superb form since signing in the summer of 2016 from the Bundesliga.

He has over 30 goals in the league this year in less than 30 appearances, and his all action style could be perfect for a club like Newcastle.
Valued at £10.2m on website Transfermarkt, it is likely Newcastle will have to stump up more than this if they want to capture the impressive striker.

The thought of Bost and Dwight Gayle wreaking havoc in the Premier League is one to savour for Newcastle fans, and Bost would be a more or less guarantee of goals for manager Rafa Benitez.

Newcastle fans, what do you think to this? Would Bost be a good signing? Let us know your thoughts
