Newcastle would like to believe that their squad will be rejuvenated in January but know deep down that’s unlikely to happen.
Money is extremely tight around the club and that’s due to one man, who fans are vocally unhappy about.
Something has to change and fast, despite the better form Newcastle have shown on the pitch of late.
Still a massive club, fans expect better of their beloved Newcastle United and that would happen if they delved into the transfer window.
Not only do they want to see big names but also players that could be around for the foreseeable future, a player like Feyenoord’s Tyrell Malacia.
The young left-back, (who is valued at £2.7 million on Transfermarkt) is an exceptionally talented, modern left-back, who is as good at getting forward as he is defending.
With electric pace and good dribbling ability, Malacia can recover quickly to end an opponent’s attack or even start his own team’s play further up the pitch.
Tyrell Malacia has played 16 times for Feyenoord this season, adding two goals and an assist to his tally.
For a 19-year-old, his all-round game is brilliant, yet he has plenty of years to make improvements to his game, which a move to Newcastle would help him do.
St James’ Park can be a hostile place for any player to play in but as one of their own, Newcastle fans would take Malacia under their wing in the hope that he succeeds and becomes the brilliant left-back many think he will be.
Paul Dummett can equally assist his progression, with the two then sound options for the Magpies to alternate between during busy parts in the season.
