The only thing better than signing a much sought after talent is knowing that you beat a rival to his signing; and that is seemingly exactly what Chelsea did with the capture of N’Golo Kante.
The French midfielder has recently been discussing his move to SW6, and what he has had to say is sure to endear himself to the Chelsea faithful here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
Whilst Jose Mourinho is known for the occasional convincing phone call to land a priority target, Kante has revealed that all it took was a short discussion with Antonio Conte for the midfielder to decide where his future would lie.
