The Arsenal fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern have been waiting desperately to hear news of any further signings this summer, but for the meantime will have to contend with the release of the new kit.
The club have revealed their Puma design for the 2017/18 season, and the Gunners fans here in the bar are getting very over excited over the new kit.
The headlines are as you would expect, it’s red and white and Olivier Giroud looks fantastic in it, but aside from a couple of details not much has changed.
On the neck of the shirt the iconic cannon is featured, as a nod to the club’s shirt featuring a cannon for 50 years.
The kit, having been leaked, has been doing the rounds here in the Tavern for a while now, meaning that there is much more focus on getting Wenger to sign some players.
And it seems that is a sentiment shared on social media, with a lot of Gooners pleased with the such, but a number desperate to see business done…
Nice! Now get some new signings that we’d like to see wearing the kit ahead of the season! #WeAreTheArsenal
