West Ham United will need to seek immediate improvements if they are to make anything of the current campaign, having failed to win any of their last three games in all competitions.
The Hammers have been extremely inconsistent in recent times, which has damaged any hopes they had of securing a European spot this season, with the teams above them picking up points.
And, the month of February could make things even worse as they’ll face up against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City, so things aren’t about to get any easier.
With that in mind, here is the nightmare February for West Ham United…
MARKO ARNAUTOVIC GOES FROM HERO TO ZERO
Marko Arnautovic had an eventful January transfer window with his future going from uncertain to secure.
And, he just wasn’t at his best against Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out as he failed to have any kind of positive impact in the final third, and he later went on to be substituted after picking up an injury.
Indeed, the attacker was the standout performer during the first half of the season, but an extremely disappointing February after all the January transfer window drama could see him go from hero to zero.
GO WINLESS UNDER MANUEL PELLEGRINI
The Hammers have lost their last three games in all competitions, and they’ll face up against the likes of Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Manchester City this month.
Indeed, securing any points against the Reds and the Citizens will be extremely difficult, while Palace and Fulham managed to strengthen last month and they’ll be desperate to move away from relegation trouble.
Therefore, Manuel Pellegrini could suffer a winless month if he isn’t careful as their recent defensive performances have been far from good enough, so major improvements are required, otherwise they could find themselves near the bottom three come the end of February.
