Though they are nervous, there is a real sense of excitement amongst the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern with regards to their upcoming clash with Chelsea…
Though this season has been a poor one for the Gunners, their form in the FA Cup has been very solid – as evidenced by their passage into the final having overcome Manchester City in the last round.
However, their next game, against Chelsea, will be a real tough one – with the Blues on fire in the English top flight. Delivering an outstanding degree of quality and consistency, the Blues – led by Antonio Conte – are formidable.
In the lead-up to the game, things have got even more difficult for the Gunners, with David Ornstein reporting on Twitter that Arsenal are suffering somewhat of a defensive crisis leading into the game.
According to Ornstein, the duo of Shkodran Mustafi and Gabriel are both doubts, whilst Laurent Koscileny is, of course, suspended.
Unsurprisingly, this has generated a bit of nervousness amongst the fans in the Transfer Tavern, though the Arsenal fans on Twitter are markedly more confident.
Though some supporters appear concerned, many fans have their own solutions to the issue – with our landlord expecting Arsene Wenger to make some big calls this weekend.
See what the fans had to say below…

Hmm not sure – Kos and Mustafi only ones truly reliable. Jury out on Chambers/Holding, Per not dependable any more, Gabriel not amazing yet
