Angel Di Maria and co run riot throughout the 90 minutes, putting four past the hapless West London outfit.
However, at times the Red Devils’ defence still looked vulnerable with defensive additions clearly needed in January.
But according to talkSPORT, one defender that is not thinking of a move to the club is Dutch international Ron Vlaar.
It was believed that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal was keen to link up with the defender after the pair enjoyed a successful World Cup campaign together.
However, the defender, who was also linked with moves to Arsenal and Juventus over the summer, has revealed he is happy with life in the West Midlands.
The Villains captain said: “I don’t feel disappointed. I have always maintained that I am enjoying myself at Villa and that is still true.”
