Excitement levels have risen among the Norwich City fans after sporting director Stuart Webber signed a new three-year contract to remain at the club until 2022 (via Norwich City).
Webber has played a key role at Carrow Road since joining from fellow Championship side Huddersfield Town in April 2017.
The sporting director was said to be key in the Norfolk side reducing their wage bill from a mammoth £63m, when he first joined the club, to just £25m last season (via The Telegraph).
Webber also played a key role in the appointment of manager Daniel Farke and has been involved, alongside the recruitment team, in the signings of stars like Teemu Pukki on a free and Emiliano Buendia for just £1.5m.
Fans seem to be over the moon after the club announced that Webber had signed a new three-year contract at the club as they took to Twitter to react.
