Leeds United currently find themselves sitting at the top of the Championship table on 57 points, while Norwich City are hot on their tail with an impressive 54 points.
The Whites have been the standout performers in the current campaign and they’ve even managed to ensure consistency in recent times, which is helping their promotion push massively. Meanwhile, Daniel Farke has done an incredible job at Carrow Road to challenge for automatic promotion with a young squad at his disposal.
Leeds United will welcome Norwich City to Elland Road later on today in the Championship, so we took a look at Ezgjan Alioski and Onel Hernandez’s influence at their respective clubs.
With that in mind, let’s compare these two transfers…
Norwich City secured the services of Onel Hernandez for an undisclosed fee back in January of last year, and it’s safe to say that he has developed into one of the best players at Carrow Road.
Indeed, the Cuba-born midfielder has been a constant threat in the final third for the Canaries, with six goals and seven assists to his name at this moment in time.
He has already played a huge part in the club’s push for automatic promotion and he will play an even bigger part from here on in until the end of the season, with goals and assists consistently flowing.
TT GRADE: A
Andre Radrizzani swooped in for Ezgjan Alioski’s services back in the summer of 2017.
However, the attacker hasn’t always been able to enjoy a positive time of things at Elland Road, as he has developed into one of the most heavily criticised players at the club this season.
It’s safe to say that he hasn’t been at his best in the current campaign, despite producing five goals and four assists.
TT GRADE: B
When comparing these two, it’s safe to say that both players are at opposite ends of the spectrum, with Onel Hernandez currently showing the Macedonian international how to get the job done.
The Norwich man has been a key figure up until this point in the current campaign, with his pace, skill, goals and assists making him one of the best in the Championship.
On the other hand, Alioski will be desperate to continue contributing in the final third having impressed in recent times, as he could still play a big part in Leeds’ promotion push.
Both players have tried their best to have positive impacts on their respective club’s seasons, but it’s Hernandez who is currently putting the Leeds attacker to shame as he has always been able to deliver quality performances.
