Norwich City currently find themselves one point behind Leeds United in the race for the Championship title, while Sheffield United sit in fourth position.
The Canaries have been completely redefined under Daniel Farke in the current campaign as they continue to grind out positive results. Meanwhile, the Blades won’t accept anything less than a play-off spot and they’ll still be looking to challenge for automatic promotion, with Chris Wilder working wonders.
Sheffield United and Norwich City will face up against each other in their next Championship fixture, so we took a look at Teemu Pukki and David McGoldrick’s influence.
With that in mind, let’s compare these two transfers…
Sheffield United signed David McGoldrick as a free agent back in the summer transfer window.
The experienced forward has been one of their standout performers in the current campaign, with 10 goals and three assists to his name at this moment in time.
He will continue to play a crucial part in the Blades’ promotion bid by supporting Billy Sharp and working tirelessly in the final third, with plenty more goals to come from the 31-year-old.

Daniel Farke also managed to secure the services of Teemu Pukki on a free transfer back in the summer months.
The Finland international has developed into one of the most prolific strikers in the Championship, having produced an incredible 17 goals and five assists, including one against Birmingham City last time out.
He has already played a massive part in the Canaries’ automatic promotion push this season, but he will have an even bigger part to play from here on in as arguably their most vital promotion ingredient.
TT GRADE: A
When comparing these two, it’s safe to say that Teemu Pukki is enjoying more success at this moment in time, but McGoldrick has still managed to find the back of the net at crucial times for Sheffield United.
The 28-year-old has been well worth the gamble in the current campaign and he could even go down as one of the club’s best signings in recent years, with goals always a guarantee when he’s in the side.
On the other hand, McGoldrick has also proved to be an absolute steal after joining on a free transfer, with plenty of life left in him at Bramall Lane.
Both players are both performing at the top of their game in the Championship, but it’s Pukki who’s currently on another level at Carrow Road, with goals flying in left, right, and centre.
