‘Not good enough’ – Liverpool fans on Twitter laugh off former player’s transfer comments

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to comments from their former Spanish youngster, Suso. The winger, whilst speaking to Tuttosport, translated by The Mirror, claimed that he has no intention of returning to the Premier League despite the fact Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants to pay his £35 million release clause.

Liverpool sold Suso to AC Milan in January 2015 after he made a meagre 21 appearances for the club after being promoted from the club’s U23s to the senior squad in July 2012. The Spaniard has been incredible since his move to AC Milan, nailing down his place on the right flank at the San Siro. In 93 appearances for the Rossoneri Suso has managed to score 15 goals and register 26 assists for teammates.

Whilst there’s no doubt that the winger has matured since his Anfield days, it seems he’s content in Serie A as he’s rubbished a move back to the Premier League. Despite his ambitions to stay in Italy, with Klopp prepard to pay out his release clause, he could find his way back to Merseyside, and back on the bench as he would surely be unable usurp the magnificent Mohamed Salah on the right-hand side of Liverpool’s deadly three-pronged attack.
