Now, he’s back at the club as Maurizio Sarri’s assistant, and according to reports, he’s done something that is sure to make him even more popular.
According to Goal, Callum Hudson-Odoi has been offered a new deal and is set to play a role in the Chelsea first team squad next season. A key reason behind this, apparently, is Gianfranco Zola’s glowing recommendation regarding the Englishman’s quality.
It’s a testament to Hudson-Odoi’s quality for Zola to apparently be the man behind the decision, and that offers up all sorts of opportunities for young players.
