‘Not too worried about this deal’ – Man Utd fans react as club reportedly reach agreement with key target

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for their side’s attack to get improved this summer…

With Wayne Rooney’s future looking uncertain, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to leave upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the month – things are not looking too good up top for the Red Devils.

There is still a lot of time to go, though, with Jose Mourinho clearly keen to improve the position. Marcus Rashford has done well over the last year or two, but a bit more depth in the role could help him and the club ten-fold.

Clearly, then, a new forward will be an important signing this summer and according to Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils are beginning to edge closer to securing a deal to that end. Romano has taken to Twitter to reveal that Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata has a deal in place with the club over a move, but Real Madrid have yet to agree a fee with the Red Devils.

News of the supposed agreement is clearly a huge boost, and many Man Utd fans have taken to Reddit to voice their hope that a deal will get over the line soon. However, some of them are feeling decidedly concerned. They fear that Real Madrid could hold the club hostage over a deal, with Los Blancos yet to play ball over a move.

See what they had to say below…
