Nottingham Forest should consider Manchester United youngster to spearhead club up the league

The Nottingham Forest supporters were delighted here in the Football Transfer Tavern this past Thursday after it was announced that a Greek consortium had completed their takeover of the football club, replacing the controversial Kuwaiti businessman Fawaz Al Hasawi.

Several of the Forest contingent were racing to the bar once they discovered that the Greeks had completed their business and the champagne and shots flowed until the small hours of Friday morning.

There is a real sense that the club can now go in the right direction next season after the club narrowly avoided dropping into League One during 2016/17, staying in the division on goal difference from Blackburn Rovers on the final day of the season.

Boss Mark Warburton must now ensure that the Reds bring in the right players during the summer if they are to have a chance of climbing the Sky Bet Championship table during the next campaign.

One area that Nottingham Forest will undoubtedly look to strengthen next season is on the wing and Manchester United misfit Adnan Januzaj could be a fantastic addition to the Championship club’s squad.

The tricky winger has not had the greatest of season’s out on loan with hapless Sunderland and the Championship looks his most likely destination next season, where Forest could do with a stellar signing to further appease their long suffering supporters.

The 22-year-old still has a lot of time left to forge a decent career in the game and the chance to make a fresh start at Nottingham Forest could be useful for the player.

A couple of Forest fans are waiting for the Sunday night quiz to begin and they think Januzaj would be a fantastic addition to the team, stating that he is probably a better wide option than anything that the club currently has available.

Nottingham Forest fans, would you welcome Januzaj to the club? Let us know in the comments below!!!
