West Bromwich Albion currently find themselves in the automatic promotion places after a dominant run of results in the Championship.
The Baggies won’t accept anything less than promotion straight back to the Premier League in the current campaign, with one of the strongest squads in the Championship at Darren Moore’s disposal. Although, it appears as if one of the club’s outcasts could be heading for the exits, as according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (14/10; page 61) (via HITC), Oliver Burke is being monitored by Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur.
Interestingly, West Brom are willing to consider selling Oliver Burke, with the likes of Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur sending scouts to look at the winger.
Burke became the club’s most expensive signing when he moved to The Hawthorns for £15 million last summer, but he has struggled to find his feet as he continues to stagnate behind the scenes.
So, the Baggies are ready to cash in with Blackburn Rovers’ Bradley Dack on their January shopping list.
Oliver Burke has all the makings to become a future England star but he just hasn’t been able to enjoy regular minutes during his time at the Hawthorns.
But, with Newcastle and Spurs interested in bringing him to the Premier League, it comes as no surprise that West Brom are considering offloading him to raise funds to purchase Bradley Dack.
