Sunderland manager Martin O’Neill is set to give the younger brother of Manchester City maverick Mario Balotelli a trial at the Stadium of Light, according to The Sun.
19-year-old Enoch Balotelli is one of adopted Mario’s three biological siblings and has already had a trial at Stoke City in December 2011 . He is also a striker and played 82 minutes for Stoke’s reserve team against Burton Albion.
Both brothers were born in Ghana before their parents emigrated to Italy where both Mario and Enoch were adopted by foster parents. Enoch failed to impress Potters’ boss Tony Pulis during his time at the Britannia Stadium and will be hoping that O’Neill is far more conducive to the unique brand of Balotelli charm.
