According to the Evening Standard, Wilfried Zaha is eyeing an exit from Crystal Palace, with the Ivorian attacker apparently eager to play in the Champions League next season.

Zaha, of course, previously played for Man Utd, but he failed to make an impact at Old Trafford. However, since moving back to Palace, he's come on leaps and bounds, and he's now arguably one of the Premier League's best wingers.

Rated at a whopping £70 million by the Eagles, it would be hugely expensive for a team to sign him this summer, but though they're not directly linked, it's a move that Man Utd must consider as he could be just what they need.

Man Utd have a lot of offensive depth, but they don't have anyone quite like Zaha. The talented attacker is quite unique in that the qualities that he possesses are unusual in the Premier League. Europe is littered with small, technically gifted attackers - but more robust iterations are more unusual. Ivan Perisic is a good example of a top player that is similar, with the Croatian a tall, strong and physical presence going forward - and Man Utd have been linked with him in the past.

Zaha, like Perisic, is a tall figure, and he has the physical strength to match that. The likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have been stellar options for Man Utd over the years, but neither can offer such a presence going forward.

His last move to the club didn't work out, but he's a different player now, and whilst his initial reign had him as a player of potential - he's now a player of real class and quality.

However, despite that, he's every bit as good ass his feet as both of those players. With lightning pace, brilliant dribbling, fantastic technique and an eye for a goal, he's exactly what every manager is looking for in a top attacker.

He scored a commendable 9 goals last season, and you'd expect that to increase when surrounded by players of Man Utd's quality. His last move to the club didn't work out, but he's a different player now, and whilst his initial reign had him as a player of potential - he's now a player of real class and quality.

Impact-wise, he could prove to be Man Utd's best signing yet this summer.
