Arsenal have strengthened in multiple areas this summer but the Gunners could still do with finding another winger to strengthen the side.

While Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi are the current options for Unai Emery to choose from, the Spaniard could do with a pacey and direct winger.

While the former Man United man, is a great player, Arsenal need someone who can back him up and potentially take his spot in the long run. In Alex Iwobi's case, it seems like the midfielder is stuck between being a creative 10 or playing as a winger. The Nigerian's career has stagnated as of late and Arsenal can't wait for him to develop as all the other top six teams get better.

With all that in mind, here are three wingers Arsenal should target to take the squad to the next level...

Although the talented winger was a part of one of Germany's World Cup campaigns, he is still one of the best young players in Europe.

At only 22, the German winger has already racked up 172 games for Bayer Leverkusen and would be a great addition to Arsenal.

He's quick, good with the ball and can score goals as well as create them and at only 22, there still a lot more to come from him.

While it'll be almost impossible to get Jose Mourinho to sell to a rival club, Anthony Martial would be an excellent signing for the club.

Blessed with blistering pace, the Frenchman has become the forgotten man at Man U and seems to be well down the pecking order in Mourinho's side. Unlike Brandt, Martial already has Premier League experience and wouldn't need long to settle in.

It'd take a huge bid but it's one that Arsenal might want to consider.

Probably the pick of the bunch, Raheem Sterling is a player Arsenal have looked at before and should go back in for again.

Under Guardiola, the England international has thrived and enjoyed his best ever season, scoring a staggering 18 goals and 15 assists for City in the league last year.

With the arrival of Mahrez and Sterling reportedly stalling on signing a new deal,  Arsenal could well have a chance, albeit a small one of bringing Sterling back down south.

It'll be tough but if Arsenal can get a bid in early, it may be able to turn Sterling's head.
