West Ham's season is turning out to be a pretty decent one given the start they had under Manuel Pellegrini.

The Hammers have found themselves getting into a steady spell of consistency in their play, and Pellegrini will be hoping for a strong finish to the season as he looks to plan for further improvements next term.

However, to continue improving, the club might need to go and splash some big money again, and if they get it right like they have with Felipe Anderson, they could well be a force.

And one man we here at the Tavern think would be a superb addition is current Monchengladbach midfield ace Thorgan Hazard, who has proven himself over the last couple of seasons to be one of the most consistent attacking midfielders in Europe.

Hazard, who is the brother of current Chelsea superstar Eden, will no doubt have a chip in his shoulder following his spell with the Blues, and he could well be keen to return to England make a name for himself in the Premier League.

Hazard has bags of ability in the locker, and someone who is ever improving, he could be a shrewd addition for the Hammers.

Adding players of big quality to play alongside players like Anderson and Arnautovic is something West Ham need to continue to do, and in Hazard, they would be getting someone in to the club who can bring goals and assists in abundance.

A fine player, and one with a point to prove, Hazard would slot in nicely for the Hammers if they choose to spend more money come the summer.
