Liverpool are a force to be reckoned with in the current campaign as they continue to defy expectations in the Premier League.
The Reds will be desperate to make the most of their promising position tomorrow as they take on bitter rivals Manchester United at Anfield.
However, it appears as if one of the club’s youngsters is set to return from a loan deal in January, as according to The Scottish Sun, Ovie Ejaria is set to cut his loan deal short at Rangers.
Ovie Ejaria is set to cut short his loan deal at Rangers and return to Liverpool.
And, Steven Gerrard has made it clear that he won’t stand in Ejaria’s way after it emerged the midfielder has struggled to adjust to life in Glasgow.
“I haven’t had the chance to speak to Ovie yet but I need to have an honest conversation with him and see where his head’s at and where he sees his future.
“I also plan to speak to Liverpool and we’ll see where those conversations go.”
Ovie Ejaria has plenty of potential and a bright future ahead of him but he hasn’t been able to live up to expectations during his time at Ibrox, so Liverpool are set to welcome the midfielder back to Anfield.
The midfielder will no doubt be shipped out on loan to another team, with there currently being no place for him at the club.
