Crystal Palace took a massive step towards safety this week as they smashed Arsenal 3-0 at Selhurst Park and boy were the Eagles fans here in the Transfer Tavern delighted about it!
And giving arguably his best performance of the season was Wilfried Zaha, who, according to the bartender here in the Transfer Tavern, is quickly becoming one of the best wingers in the Premier League.
And after the victory against the Gunners, it’s clear that former Manchester United winger Zaha is pleased with his side’s win after it took them another step closer to Premier League safety.
“This result is a massive step towards safety because after beating Chelsea we then went down to Southampton and lost so this win is what we needed but we just need to keep on going, starting with the game on Saturday,” Zaha said to the Standard.
Zaha grabbed two assists as his side swept aside a poor Arsenal side 3-0 at Selhurst Park and confidence here in the Palace corner of the pub is high, ahead of their game against Leicester City this weekend.
