Pardew needs to make a January move for this Leeds United star to aid West Brom’s survival hopes

West Brom find themselves firmly embroiled in a relegation battle this time out, and new manager Alan Pardew will know he has a fight on his hands to keep the Baggies in the top flight once again.

Pardew will be hoping for a busy end to the January window after already admitting he needed to freshen up his squad, and he will no doubt be looking to add one or two game changers to his squad in attacking positions.

Here in the Tavern, our landlord thinks that there’s quite a few players knocking about below the Premier League who could do a job for the Baggies, and one particular player at Leeds has caught his eye in the form of attacking star Ezgjan Alioski.

The summer signing has been seriously impressive for the Whites and has quickly become a fan favourite at Elland Road, and the step up to the Premier League merely six months into his debut season in England is something which would not face him, and he would surely relish the chance of aiding in a relegation battle.

Alioski is a player of immense quality and has that little bit of ‘X factor’ about him that many clubs crave. He has the ability to score out of nothing, is capable of the spectacular, looks a ready made player for the top flight here in England.

It would be a huge loss for Leeds, but West Brom would benefit from a quality attacking player and one who won’t cost the world too.
