The highly rated youngster has been drawing admiring glances from a number of teams, and Alan Pardew is set to test the water at his old club with a bid for the 24-year-old skipper who has spent over seven seasons at the club and has impressed the Newcastle boss who spent 13 months working with the player during his time on the south coast.
Lallana has risen through the ranks steadily and is now looking to break onto the international scene and could well realise this dream at a club such as Newcastle who are involved in the Europa League this term.
