Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to ensure some consistency in the near future after an incredibly disappointing week or so.
The Lilywhites just haven’t been able to replicate their early-season form in recent times as they appear to be sliding under Mauricio Pochettino. And, to make matters worse, it looks as if the Argentine will now find it even harder to land a reported transfer target, as according to Mundo Deportivo, Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing up a possible January swoop for Frenkie de Jong.
It was previously reported that Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona were all interested in signing the promising 21-year-old.
However, Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined the hunt to nab Ajax ace Frenkie de Jong.
Although, it’s thought that Manchester United are determined not to lose out on the youngster following a low-key summer of spending.
Spurs will be desperate to secure the services of another central midfielder as they’ve looked rather flat at times in the current campaign.
Although, with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Barcelona all in the hunt, it looks as if the Lilywhites will struggle to compete after a disappointing summer transfer window.
But, the London club have even more important things on their hands as they continue to hunt down a place in the top four.
