Manchester City punters in the Transfer Tavern are sweating this afternoon after being alerted to news concerning their star-man Sergio Aguero.
Fresh from watching the Argentine smash five goals against a hapless Newcastle United, the supporters entered the Tavern in a celebratory mood- but the smile has soon been wiped of their faces by Spanish outlet Fichajes.
They state French giants Paris Saint-Germain are eying a mammoth £64m move for the South American starlet, who has become a cult-hero in Manchester since arriving from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
Agüero has struck 115 goals in 174 appearances for the Citizens, who are sure to fend-off any interest in their talismanic forward, but the eyes of the forward could be diverted by the oil-rich club.
Fichajes state the €88m move will see the 27-year-old become a long-term replacement for Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
