Manchester City have been the standout performers in the Premier League this season and remain the favourites to lift the title come the end of the season.
The Citizens can’t afford too many slip-ups if they are to secure their second successive title as the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea are right on their tail. Although, it appears as if Manchester City are set to send one of their players out on loan again in January, as according to The Sunday Mirror (November 11, page 68) (via HITC), Patrick Roberts is set for a fresh loan move in January.
It’s understood that Patrick Roberts is in line for a fresh loan move when the transfer window reopens, after his Spanish spell ‘backfired’.
He has started just twice for Girona, albeit in the Catalan side’s most recent two fixtures, and PSV Eindhoven are now in the running to sign him.
Patrick Roberts has plenty of promise and could still become a special player for the Citizens in the future, but his immediate future lies elsewhere.
The Citizens will be keen to send him out to another club after his disappointing loan spell over in Spain, with a January transfer window exit on the cards.
