The Hammers spent big over the course of the summer transfer window but they have very little to show for it at this moment in time, with Manuel Pellegrini struggling slightly. Although, things are looking up for the London club, as according to the Daily Mail, Pellegrini is confident that Declan Rice will agree a new contract at the club.

Indeed, the teenager has turned down West Ham’s initial offer, reported to be worth around £15,000 a week, and his current deal runs out next season.
“He’s not a young player anymore and I don’t think he will have any problems with his contract in the future.”
Declan Rice has established himself as one of the most promising players in the whole of English football so far this season as he continues to grind out consistent performances for the Hammers.
Indeed, West Ham United will be desperate to tie him down to a long-term contract as a number of clubs will inevitably swoop in for his services if they fail to do so.
