Pellegrini must start Yarmolenko and Zabaleta against Tottenham Hotspur

West Ham United haven’t managed to ensure consistency in the current campaign as their poor start continues to haunt them.

The Hammers will need to seek improvements if they are to challenge for a European spot this season after a very busy summer transfer window at the London Stadium.

Interestingly, West Ham United will welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the London Stadium in their next Premier League encounter. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been rather impressive in recent times and will have their eyes set on the title, so it will be a very difficult afternoon for the Hammers.

So, Manuel Pellegrini must get his team selection right by selecting these TWO West Ham United stars…

Andriy Yarmolenko

The Ukrainian has been one of the shining lights for West Ham United in the current campaign, with a number of goals to his name already in the Premier League.

Andriy Yarmolenko has the ability to create something out of absolutely nothing by utilising his trickery and creativity in the final third.

Indeed, the right-back simply has to start if the Hammers are to stand any chance of forcing a result against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, with the likes of Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld being unbreachable at times.

Pablo Zabaleta

Pablo Zabaleta has been one of the most consistent defenders in the Premier League over the years, and has taken Ryan Frederick’s place in the starting lineup.

The Argentine will be vital to securing a result against Spurs as his experience and quality will work wonders against one of the most dangerous attacks in the top-flight of English football.
