Pep Guardiola can lead Man City to the title by adding this world class midfielder to his squad

Manchester City will be hoping to press on next season under Pep Guardiola and make more of a fight out of competing for the Premier League title than they have done this year.

City at times looks massively impressive and unstoppable with some of their attacking play towards the end of the season, and their fans here in the Tavern have been buzzing about what next season could have in store for their club.

They have already added exciting Monaco man Bernardo Silva to the squad, and our landlord thinks that this is by no means the end of their summer spending and hunt for world class players.

One player who we think could really add something to the City squad is current Bayern Munich midfield powerhouse Arturo Vidal. At 30-years-old he is about in his prime, and might never get the chance to move to England again should he stay with the Bundesliga club.

With City needing to add some quality in the middle of the park to aid their attacking flair players in the wide and number 10 areas, Vidal would appear to fit the mould of the ideal player they need.

A class operator and someone who has a winning mentality, Vidal would represent an excellent addition to what is already a supremely talented squad at the Etihad.

City fans, what do you think? Would you take Vidal? Let us know in the comments!
