Nothing gets the punters in the Football Transfer Tavern more riled up than seeing someone walk in with a half-and-half scarf around their neck.
The archetypal piece of game-day merch, no self-respecting football fan would wear one; but they continue to remain a near constant somewhere in the crowd, regardless of the stadium.
Our landlord thought the half-and-half scarf couldn’t be topped. He thought it was undeniably the worst piece of football merchandise available…
…And then he saw this monstrosity.
As the picture below shows, Feyenoord are selling half-and-half hoodies ahead of their Europe League clash against Manchester United.

The worst part is that it’s coming from the official Feyenoord store! It’s not even off a stall round the corner from the stadium!
Another thing for our landlord to add to the ‘BANNED’ item list…
