Newcastle United finally recorded their first win at the weekend against Watford and will be looking to build on that when they meet Bournemouth at St. James’ Park at the weekend.

Rafa Benitez’s side managed to lift themselves out of the bottom three with the victory and will be looking for his side to get a positive result against the Cherries.

Goals have been somewhat a concern for the Magpies this season, having only recorded seven all season, however, the Spaniard could be prepared to give one man his chance in the first-team.

The club posted a gallery of photos on their official website, with some showing Elias Sorensen in action with the first-team.

The striker could be handed his chance after impressing with the Under-23s, where he has scored 13 goals so far this season, including a brace against Manchester United recently.

The Verdict:

Newcastle fans will be excited to see Sorensen in training with the first-team, with a number of them calling for him to be given a chance in the senior squad.

The Dane has been in wonderful form for the developmental side at the moment and could look to make an impression in the game against Bournemouth.

However, there has been rumours that Benitez is considering to loan him out in January, but with him training with the first-team, maybe the manager is pondering to include him in the near future.
