‘Please focus on Palace first’ – Liverpool fans really don’t agree with club’s latest message

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to a few busy weeks of action. It’s a very exciting time to be a Liverpool supporter, with their form both in the Champions League and the Premier League improving week-by-week.

Jurgen Klopp has really got his team playing well, and whilst nobody was predicting that Liverpool would make it to the semi-finals of the Champions League, they are just two games away from doing just that.

Indeed, it appears as though everyone at Liverpool has been caught up in Champions League fever, and that’s certainly the case over on their official Twitter page. They recently posted to say that just 7 days remain until their next European clash with Man City.

Whilst that’s certainly true, it appears as though the Reds online have taken issue with the post from their club.

Quite rightly, they’ve been quick to remind them that another game lies in the way for Liverpool before that fixture – and it’s a big one. They’re set to face Crystal Palace this weekend in a game that could end up being crucial in their quest for a top-four finish. They can’t afford to drop points, particularly with Chelsea and Tottenham breathing down their necks, and so a win is essential.

Indeed, the Liverpool fans on Twitter aren’t too happy with the post. Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…
