Pochettino eyes Premier League glory with transfer talks held – Report

Tottenham Hotspur fans here in the Tavern are praying that their side can challenge for the Premier League title in the next campaign.

Sadly, Spurs lost their way as the season progressed after establishing themselves as Manchester City’s closest rivals towards the start of the campaign. But, it looks as if Mauricio Pochettino is looking to go one better next time round, as according to Sun Sport, Tottenham have been having talks with Yerry Mina’s dad.

It’s believed that central defender Yerry Mina will be offered to Premier League clubs in a shock move by Spanish side Barcelona.

Indeed, the Colombian is about to be sidelined by Barcelona just months after signing him as they line up another defender.

Therefore, Barcelona are looking to send the South American out on loan to provide him with regular minutes, with a number of other quality central defenders already at their disposal.

Interestingly, Tottenham have held talks with Yerry Mina’s dad, but face competition from Everton for his signature this summer.

Landlord’s Verdict:

So, it appears as if Mauricio Pochettinio is looking to join the race for the Premier League title in the next campaign having held talks with Yerry Mina’s dad. The 23-year-old is one of the most promising central defenders in the whole of world football and starred for Colombia at the World Cup, so he could definitely take Spurs’ defence to the next level in the new campaign.
