Pochettino should move for industrious South American to help super Son create for Tottenham

Tottenham are going well in the league, with star striker Harry Kane beginning to find a real burst of form heading into the second half of the campaign.

Spurs fans here in The Transfer Tavern are a regular feature, with the boys from North London always finding the time to make the trip down to visit our humble establishment. Regulars around the quiz machine during their visits, our landlord took time from his busy schedule to catch up with the rowdy bunch, with the transfer window the item on the agenda. Fans expressed their desire to see the club busy this month, with a top-four place up for grabs, as well as a very winnable tie against Italians Juventus approaching in the Champions League.

Another top quality wide man was the agreement amongst fans and our landlord, with many keen to see the club test the waters with a bid for in-form Watford man, Richarlison. The 20-year-old linked up with the Hornets from Fluminense in the summer for a fee in the region of £11 million, and has excelled during his first year in English football. The youngster has been instrumental to Watford’s rise to mid-table, scoring an impressive five goals and adding a further four assists in his debut year. Spurs’ wingers have struggled this season, with Korean Son Heung-min the only man to excel at Wembley this year, and this is a problem manager Mauricio Pochettino must address.

Richarlison is the perfect man for Poch to target, with the appeal of the player’s current ability massive boosted by his age and untapped potential, and the Argentine boss should move sooner rather than later to ensure the Brazilian wonderkid heads south to London.
