Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to build on last weekend’s result as they secured all three points against Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
Spurs were the only team in the Premier League not to bring in a player during the summer transfer window as Mauricio Pochettino was left empty-handed. Indeed, supporters were outraged that their side didn’t bring in any reinforcements, so the Argentine will need to prove his side’s worth in weeks to come.
Interestingly, there’re a number of players that the London club should think about offloading, with competition for places beginning to hot up.
Indeed, one player in particular lost his way in the last campaign and is no longer a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, despite earning himself a place in England’s World Cup squad.
So, it’s hard to believe Pochettino hasn’t shifted this Tottenham Hotspur flop yet…
Danny Rose, who is currently valued at £27 million (by Transfermarkt), hasn’t been a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans this season as Ben Davies has been given the nod on the left-hand side of defence.
And, with the transfer window still open in a number of European leagues, Danny Rose could still be on the move but nothing is concrete at this stage.
Indeed, Mauricio Pochettino shouldn’t hesitate to get rid of the Englishman this summer as his time in North London seems to be over. The 28-year-old offered very little in the last campaign and wasn’t his usual self after the disagreement with the Argentine.
