Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed another successful season, but fans in the Transfer Tavern are disappointed that their thrilling campaign is set to end without honours once again.

Mauricio Pochettino has excelled since taking charge of the North London giants and he’s turned a side of top-four hopefuls into Premier League contenders, although it’s clear additional improvements are necessary if the Lilywhites are to win their first league title since 1961.

Still, the Argentine boss can be praised for bringing the best of of Tottenham’s starring youngsters, establishing Harry Kane and Dele Alli as two of the best players within English football- and boosting the England side as a result.

Our landlord is excited to see what else Mauricio Pochettino has up his sleeve next season, and believes Thursday’s clash with Leicester City is the perfect opportunity to hand an opening to two players within his squad.
