The agent of Manchester United’s wonder kid Paul Pogba watched the Italian Cup match between Juventus and AC Milan on Wednesday of last week. This comes amid claims in The Mail that the United youngster will move to Turin in the summer when his contract expires.
Pogba, 18, only made his Premier League debut last month against Stoke City but is tipped to have a big future in the game with Sir Alex Ferguson keen to give the youngster valuable first team experience. His debut came on the day that Ravel Morrison sealed his move to West Ham and United do not want to let another one of their most promising young stars leave Old Trafford prematurely.
Fergie, has confirmed that contract talks are ongoing between United and Pogba’s representatives and he remained confident that a deal could be struck.
Speaking after last month’s home game against Stoke City, Ferguson was full of praise for the young midfielder and believed that his young star would prefer to stay at Old Trafford.
“The boy has great talent and tremendous physique for an 18-year-old. You can’t believe it.
It is a bit complicated at the moment because he has changed his agent a couple of times.
But the boy wants to stay, that is obvious. Hopefully we can get it done soon.”
