And, it appears as if Kenny Jackett is looking to strengthen in January, as according to the Mirror’s live transfer news live blog (29/12; 14:45), Portsmouth have spoken to Watford’s Randell Williams about a potential move.

The 21-year-old has been very impressive since joining Wycombe Wanderers on loan back in the summer transfer window, so it comes as no surprise that Portsmouth are eyeing a swoop.
Portsmouth are believed to have spoken to Watford about a potential deal, but Brentford and Bristol City are also interested in securing his services.
Randell Williams has been making plenty of headlines at Wycombe Wanderers this season, so a move to promotion chasers Portsmouth would be just reward.
Jackett has secured a number of terrific signings over the past couple of transfer windows, so supporters should feel confident about their latest pursuit.
