The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for the return of Luke Shaw…
The Englishman has struggled with injuries since moving to Old Trafford, with a freak leg break the most significant problem suffered, meaning that he has been unable to gain a head of steam so far.
At 22-years-old, he really needs to be playing regularly, and so it’s vital that he returns to fitness as soon as possible and gets back into Mourinho’s plans.
Fortunately, he appears close to that end, with Ben Dinnery reporting on Twitter that he, alongside Ashley Young, is set to return to action this evening (Tuesday) with the under-23s.

Young’s return will be a boost for Man Utd, having proven to be a valuable option under Jose Mourinho, but the return of Luke Shaw is particularly exciting.
The defender, despite his struggles lately, is still one of England’s most exciting young talents, and he still has all of the tools to make it at the top.
His return to action this evening will be an important step in his recovery, and along with Ashley Young, he will be eyeing a return to first-team action as soon as possible.
The return of Luke Shaw cannot come soon enough for Man Utd.
They don’t have much depth on the left-hand side, and so when fit and in-form, there is no doubting that Shaw will play a prominent role under Mourinho.
He must not be rushed back, though, and so playing for the under-23s is a good way to start his return.
