Potential consequences of Arsenal moving for Adrien Rabiot in the summer

Potential consequences of Arsenal moving for Adrien Rabiot in the summer - Arsenal

Arsenal currently find themselves in a battle to secure a Champions League place in the current campaign, with Manchester United and Chelsea also in the race.

The Gunners may be able to reach new heights under Unai Emery next season if they manage to strengthen during the summer transfer window. But, the only thing on supporters’ minds at this moment in time is securing a Champions League spot, as they’ve had to watch their side operate in the Europa League in recent times.

But, it appears as if Emery already has his sights set on the summer transfer window, as according to the Express, Arsenal are eyeing a move for Adrien Rabiot. Emery is a big fan of the Frenchman and he worked with Rabiot during his time at Paris Saint-Germain for two years before moving to the Emirates

Indeed, the 23-year-old is a special talent, so Emery simply has to go all out to bring him to the Emirates, with these being the potential consequences of landing the international star…

Interestingly, the Lilywhites are also reportedly interested in signing Rabiot, so Emery could get one up on Arsenal’s North London rivals. Of course, supporters would love nothing more than their side pipping Spurs to securing the services of Rabiot, as the midfielder is a very special talent.

It’s safe to say that Spurs could do with bringing in a quality central midfielder after witnessing Mousa Dembele’s departure last month, so Spurs could upset their bitter rivals by signing their target.

Lucas Torreira has been simply sensational since making the move to the Emirates back in the summer transfer window, having established himself as one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League.

But, the South American is still yet to find his perfect partner in the middle of midfield.

Rabiot could be the perfect man for the job as he makes up for all the things that Torreira isn’t necessarily the best at, with the Frenchman’s creativity and long-range passing ability working wonders alongside the Uruguayan’s tackling and intercepting ability. Indeed, a midfield partnership that involves these two stars may just be unbreachable.
