Tottenham Hotspur fans will feel extremely disappointed with yesterday’s result against Liverpool as they could have easily stolen all three points if Moussa Sissoko had sorted his feet out.
The Brazilian hasn’t been able to secure a permanent place at Juventus in the current campaign but he’s still managed to produce one goal and two assists.
So, with the winger possibly looking for a way out in the summer transfer window, here are the potential consequences of Spurs signing Juventus man…
DANIEL LEVY COMPLETES SPURS’ ATTACK
Of course, Spurs fans would love to see Daniel Levy spend this summer after a couple of dry windows.
Levy’s priority must be to bring Douglas Costa to North London, regardless of whether Toby Alderweireld is or isn’t involved in a potential deal, as he’s the type of world-class player who could complete Spurs’ attack.
He has the pace that’s been lacking in attacking areas at times, apart from when Lucas Moura’s on the field, and he’s shown in years gone by that he can score and produce in the final third, which would benefit Tottenham massively.
SON HEUNG-MIN WORRIED
Son Heung min has had to settle for a place on the substitutes’ bench in his last two Premier League games and Lucas Moura managed to find the back of the net yesterday and looked impressive, so perhaps he could find himself starting on the bench more regularly from here on in until the end of the season.
Therefore, Douglas Costa joining in the summer transfer window could make him even more worried about securing a place in the side as the Brazilian has the ability to slot right into Mauricio Pochettino’s starting lineup.
