Spurs fans surely must be getting sick and tired of their side’s inconsistent performances in the Premier League, as they’re making fools of themselves after fighting for the title at one point.
Indeed, it appears as if Mauricio Pochettino has realised that he needs to strengthen this summer, as according to the Daily Mail, Spurs want five players including Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish.
The attacking midfielder has been simply sensational since returning from injury at Villa Park, so it comes as no surprise that Spurs are looking to bring him to North London.
Therefore, with a special talent potentially rocking up at Spurs, here are the potential consequences…
DANIEL LEVY REPLACES ERIKSEN
It’s safe to say that one of the biggest worries for Spurs fans at this moment in time is Christian Eriksen’s future, as the club have reportedly (as per Daily Mail) accepted that the Dane is likely to leave this summer.
Daniel Levy could easily replace Eriksen with Jack Grealish in the summer if he finally decides to splash the cash, as they both operate in the same position and the Englishman has all the attacking qualities to provide the goals and assists that could go missing if the Dane ends up leaving.
SPURS FINALLY LAND TARGET
Spurs failed (as per Sky Sports)to sign the midfielder last summer as Aston Villa stood firm on their refusal to sell at any price.
Indeed, it would be a nice feeling for Spurs fans to see their side finally land the Englishman after facing rejection last summer, as he could have played a big part in the current campaign. And, the fact that Eriksen is likely to leave in the summer will make things even sweeter if Levy manages to agree a deal with the Midlands club.
Tottenham Hotspur fans, is Grealish good enough to replace Eriksen? Surely he’s worth a punt after witnessing Dele Alli’s rise in the Premier League…
