West Ham United could do with making a number of changes in the summer transfer window with things still not going perfectly at this moment in time.
One of the biggest problems for the Hammers has been at the pinnacle of the attack as they’re still yet to find a striker who can ensure a consistent flow of goals, so that must be the priority in the summer.
Interestingly, it appears as if the London club are already looking at possible additions, as according to Calciomercato, West Ham United are interested in Andrej Kramaric.
Kramaric has reached new heights since leaving Leicester City and he could be open to returning to the Premier League, so here are the potential consequences of the Hammers signing him…
DAVID GOLD & DAVID SULLIVAN FINALLY BAG NO.9
The priority for David Gold and Sullivan in the summer transfer window has to be spending big on a striker as the likes of Javier Herndandez and Lucas Perez have been woeful, while Andy Carroll’s contract is set to expire.
Andrej Kramaric would be able to solve the Hammers’ attacking problems with ease as he’s been prolific in the current campaign, having produced 20 goals in all competitions.
Fans were surprised that Gold and Sullivan decided against making any moves in January, especially as none of the strikers had shown much during the first half of the season, so it would come as a big relief to see Kramaric rock up.
Indeed, he may not have impressed during his time at the King Power Stadium but his slight bit of top-flight experience could help him settle down quickly.
LONDON STADIUM DELIGHT
Of course, the London Stadium could be playing host to European football in the near future if the club play their cards right in the summer, as the Hammers could find themselves challenging the top six teams with a prolific No.9.
A striker is the only thing letting the London club down at this moment in time as goals have been hard to come by, so fans at the London Stadium would be delighted to finally see a proven goalscorer lead the line.
West Ham United fans, do you think Kramaric would be the perfect No.9? Join the discussion by commenting down below!
